The Hague Principles for a Universal Declaration on Responsibilities for Human Rights and Earth Trusteeship . . "WE CALL UPON the United Nations to initiate a process of consultation, negotiation and eventual adoption of a Universal Declaration on Responsibilities for Human Rights and Earth Trusteeship based on these principles."

The School for Wellbeing is an independent action research platform established 20 August 2009 as a follow-up to the Third International Conference on Gross National Happiness (“GNH3”) organized in Thailand two years earlier. The founding partners were Chulalongkorn University, Faculty of Political Science, the Centre for Bhutan Studies & GNH (CBS), and the Sathirakoses Nagapradipa Foundation (SNF). SNF was established in 1968 by Right Livelihood Award laureate Sulak Sivaraksa and celebrates its 50th anniversary. From 2014 onwards the School for Wellbeing continued as an independent platform, while Chulalongkorn University (CU) initiated the Wellbeing Studies Programme including four partners: CU, the Royal University of Bhutan (RUB), the Right Livelihood College (RLC) and SNF. The Wellbeing Studies Programme and School for Wellbeing closely work together. In 2018 the School for Wellbeing became the ninth campus of the Right Livelihood College. Other Right Livelihood College campuses are based in Germany, Sweden, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Chile, Argentina, USA and India. On 19-21 July 2019, School for Wellbeing will celebrate its 10th anniversary since its establishment in 2009 with the great occasion of the Earth Trusteeship Forum which will be held during that time. With the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, we cordially welcome everyone to participate in the public lecture and dialogue on "Invoking the spirit of Trusteeship: Can Gandhi's idea of trusteeship address the challenges of the 21st century? . On Friday 19th July 2019 at 09:30 - 13:30, Mahachulalongkorn Building Room 105, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand (Including break and lunch) . The lecture is also part of the second Earth Trusteeship Forum which is held on 19 - 21 July 2019. We would like to welcome everyone to join the Earth Trusteeship Forum which will be held on 19 - 21 July 2019, Bangkok, Thailand. Earth Trusteeship is a coner stone idea towards genuine sustainability and inclusive social justice. However, the notion still needs articulation for advocacy.
